What we do

• Manage all plumbing systems and fixtures on campus, from a dripping faucet to the underground infrastructure.
• Maintain 400 valves, which are direct bury.
• Manage potable, industrial hot and cold water, natural gas, vacuum, sewage, and storm water drainage systems.
• Provide custom installations of special gas piping in labs — inert gas, and volatile gas.
• Maintain all eyewash and safety showers on campus.
• Emergency repairs.
• Maintain effluent decontamination systems, both steam and chemical versions used in high containment labs.
• Maintain 18 water treatment plants for deionized water.
• Maintain pumps for storm water, sewage lift stations, and domestic water.

About our team

• We worked on approximately 22 campus projects in FY 22-23.
• We saved over $40,000 performing a large, in-house repair to an underground fire suppression water line leak in June 2023. The trench was over 10 feet deep and involved replacing two, large risers.
• Our team received approximately 2,900 work orders in FY 24-25.
