Facilities Services is proud to recognize Housing Zone Maintenance Supervisor, Trenton "Trent" Mabee, as the Staff Assembly "Get Recognized Award" recipient for his commitment to Facilities Services and the campus community. Teresa Villarreal, nominated Trent for consistently displaying the values that UCR holds dear in our students, faculty, and staff by exhibiting the principles of integrity, accountability, excellence, and respect. 

According to the award nomination, Trent is always professional, knowledgeable and treats UCR residents, staff, and campus partners with the utmost respect. Trent is always attentive to calls and is always happy to provide updates and follow-ups regarding work orders submitted from residents and office staff. Thanks to his positive demeanor, Trent motivates his six staff members to excel in their work and provide premium customer service to residents, faculty, and staff. 

Most recently, Trent quickly resolved an issue in a UCR campus apartment complex which required keeping multiple departments and staff members informed with updates while delegating tasks to his team. Trent spearheaded this effort with little direction and took it upon himself to ensure all parties were notified as to the scope, outline, and ultimate goal of the work to allow for better communication with the impacted residents. Trent's actions helped to alleviate the issue in less than two days and helped to develop a plan of action to make sure the situation would not occur again at the property.
